AFF has several recurring events where you can find our members:

Sipping & Tying: Meet us the first Tuesday of the month at Draft + Table, 301 Main Street, North Little Rock, for our social fly tying nights which start at 6 pm. Bring your fly tying vise (or use one of ours), tying materials and hooks, order some food and a beverage and we will tie flies and trade fishing lies. We have a featured tyer who will have materials on hand to guide you through a new pattern each month. If you don't tie (yet) & just want to see how it's done, we'd love to see you. No experience necessary. There is plenty of parking on the street and in the US Bank parking lot. Members & visitors welcome. Family Friendly. 

Monthly Meetings. Our regular club meeting is the third Monday of the month at the Whole Hog Cafe, 2516 Cantrell Road, Little Rock, at 6 pm. Besides the opportunity to meet and socialize with AFF members, monthly meetings typically feature a presentation from knowledgeable experts on fly fishing, fly tying, fisheries management, casting, or other topic of interest to fly fishers. Casting Tune Ups. Join us for a drop-in fly casting tune-up session led by AFF’s Casting Program, taking place from 4:00 to 5:30 PM before the regular monthly meeting. This will be across the parking lot in front of the Whole Hog. Whether you're brand new to fly casting or looking to smooth out your loop and tighten your delivery, this informal session is a great opportunity to get personalized tips and hands-on feedback from experienced casters. This is designed for all skill levels—from beginners learning the basics to seasoned anglers wanting help in picking up a technique or refining their accuracy or distance. Bring your own rod and reel if you have them; a limited number of loaner setups will be available. No RSVP required—just show up, cast a few lines, and sharpen your skills before the meeting begins. Since this is outside, we will not hold this in inclement weather and take a break in the winter months (think December/January) when it gets dark so early. 

Board Meetings. AFF's Board of Directors meets at 6 pm on the fourth Monday of most months at Corky's BBQ, 12005 Westhaven Dr, Little Rock. Members welcome.
