Deposit for AFF’s September 9-13, 2026 Frying Pan & Roaring Fork (Colorado) Trip

Lodging at Taylor Creek Cabins in 5.6 miles from Basalt, Colorado at the confluence of Taylor Creek and The Frying Pan River. Taylor Creek has one mile of private access on the Frying Pan
The lodging, car rental, airfare and one day of guided fishing is estimated to be about $1500 per person. Additional days of guided fishing, tips, fishing license and food are in addition to the $1500.
Guided fishing available through Basalt based Frying Pan Anglers. (While guided fishing is available throughout, some intend to use a guide the first day only and guiding is optional)
- Wade trips on Frying Pan ($650 full day 2 anglers)
- Float trips available on Roaring Fork ($775 full day 2 anglers)
Travel. Most participants intend to fly and share rental car expenses rather than drive. If you intend to fly, the group will fly Southwest Airlines & split rental cars from Denver using the below flights which as of April 2026 were $309 round trip.
- Depart Little Rock on 09/09/2026 at 1:55 PM am on Southwest flight 2865 (nonstop)
- Depart Denver on 09/13/2026 at 3:50 PM on Southwest flight 429 (nonstop)

Deposits will be refunded if a replacement participant can be arranged. AFF will maintain a standby list to help in this case, but it is not guaranteed as the deposit is set at AFF cost.
Participants must be AFF members.
