Fly Tying Clinics
Looking for something to do in Little Rock, Arkansas? AFF's Fly Tying Clinics are a great way to learn new tying skills or hone in on the skills that you already have with step-by-step guidance from accomplished tiers in a fun, family-friendly environment. The clinics run about three hours with a short break in the middle.

Come out and enjoy a nice meal and a fly-tying session! The clinics are thematic and focus on a type of fly (i.e. streamer, nymph, soft hackle, etc.), species (trout, bass, etc.), or other topics. Often, the theme will include a fly for one of AFF’s upcoming Fly of the Month competitions. Unless they have reserved one of AFF's sets of loaner equipment, participants are expected to bring a vise, basic tying tools, and appropriate thread (some like bringing a small light). AFF provides the other needed materials, and participants are able to see a live, magnified video of the instructors’ fly throughout.

The sessions are held at Corky’s Ribs and BBQ in West Little Rock where the restaurant provides a dedicated and friendly waitstaff for our group.
