Join AFF from 2–4 PM at Hospitality House in North Little Rock for a casting clinic with George Daniel–one of the best fly fishers and casters anywhere–HANDS DOWN! George’s goal is to help others develop fly fishing independence. That is, having the skills and confidence to fish on their own. He’s been working with beginners, intermediate, and advanced fly fishers for over 20 years with one goal in mind-helping you become a confident and successful fly fisher. He does not offer guided fly fishing trips but offers fly fishing instruction for fly casting, dry fly, nymphing, and streamer tactics.
This clinic will be an immersive, hands-on workshop led by expert fly fisherman and casting instructor George Daniel. Known for his modern and innovative approach to fly fishing, George will guide participants through the essential skills and techniques of casting, whether for nymphing, dry fly fishing, or streamers. George can break down the casting process and explain how to improve line control, loop formation, and accuracy, helping us perfect the mechanics of a fluid, efficient cast. Need to go beyond the basics? George is a master at specialty casting techniques tailored for specific conditions and fly fishing methods like reach casting, tuck casting, and slack-line casts which are essential for challenging situations and improving fly presentation.
George will demonstrate with the group and make his way around to provide tips and adjustments to participants which ensures everyone, regardless of experience level, leaves with a stronger casting foundation.
The cost is $10 for AFF members and $20 for non-members. Space is limited!
