July 16th’s meeting is fly tying night! This is a time when AFF Members can share their knowledge gained over the years with others or just hang out and relax with a cold beverage and BBQ. Guests are welcome!
ALL FLIES TIED DURING THE NIGHT WILL BE GIVEN AWAY TO ONE RAFFLE WINNER BY NIGHT'S END!
We will divide the room into sections focusing on Fly Tying, Knots, Equipment, and etc. If you are an experienced fly tier or would like to learn, bring your equipment/materials if you have it. Otherwise, we’ll get you started. Not sure how to set up your new fly rod? Bring it too! We’ll show you how! Want to learn more about trout, bass, carp, redfish, tarpon, bonefish, or permit? Many members are experienced in fly fishing for all kinds of species; the answers are just a member away.
In meetings past, this tends to be one of the more popular; A time when members can share stories and schedule trips. So don’t miss it and get there early!
